Oatlands Leisure Gardens will be having an Open Day from 12 - 3pm on 8 August 2009.  Come on down and support us in our struggle to stay put.

Glasgow City Council has given the Oatlands to developer Gladedale for 175 years - in return Gladedale is building the roads and is supposed to manage Richmond Park.  Even though the private housing they are building isn't selling, they still want to build on the allotment! (Gladedale is building a small amount of social housing, about 20% of the total).

There will be home baking, music and the chance to see a beautiful allotment, as well as get gardening tips.
