A public meeting is being held on Monday 27th July at 7.30pm at Clark Memorial Church Hall, Bath Street in Largs. The meeting is being organized by a group of local residents who are uniting in a new campaign to oppose a proposed £2 billion coal-fired power station at Hunterston.

The meeting will give a chance for people to find out more details about what has been proposed; discuss the implications of the coal station being designated as a “national development” within the Scottish Government’s National Planning Framework, as well as share ideas about how best to campaign against the proposed coal station.
